China Travel Roadmap

Quick Verdict

China Travel Roadmap is a website that provides practical, person-reviewed day-by-day China itineraries, and it may be useful if you want a structured short trip plan for Beijing and Shanghai. The website describes free sample itineraries and appears to offer a paid “personal plan” option for more tailored routes.

Key Features

• Day-by-day itineraries: The site offers concrete, day-level plans (examples include a five-day Beijing sample and a seven-day Beijing & Shanghai sample).
• Transport and booking guidance: Itineraries include travel times, sensible routes, booking reminders, and alternatives when plans change, according to the site description.
• Practical pre-arrival setup: The website describes guidance on apps and other setup tasks to complete before arriving in China.
• Accommodation and train planning: Sample itineraries reference hotel choices, train planning, and entry/payment checks as part of the plan.
• Free samples and human review signals: Several sample itineraries are labelled “FREE” and the site indicates content is “REVIEWED BY A PERSON”; some pages also show published and last-reviewed dates.

Who this is for

Best fit: first-time visitors to China and travelers planning short, city-focused trips (especially Beijing and Shanghai) who want a ready-made, day-by-day route with transport notes and practical tips.

Not a fit / verify before you buy: the website does not clearly state pricing for the personal plan, whether the service makes bookings on your behalf, or how broadly itineraries cover other regions of China. Verify pricing, booking capabilities, languages offered, and privacy/data handling on the official website before committing to a paid plan.

A: The website does not clearly state whether it handles bookings; verify this on the official website.

Q: Are the itineraries reviewed by people?
