Quick Verdict

ShortMake is an AI video generator for making short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, and it may suit creators who want to turn ideas into videos with fewer manual production steps. It lists text-to-video generation, AI voice-over, and animated characters, but creators should check plan limits, output rights, and privacy details before relying on it for regular or commercial work.

Key Features

The website describes text-to-video generation, AI voice-over, and animated characters. It also lists Google Veo 3, Kling AI, and Wan AI. These are concrete capabilities the site presents; the available information does not explain how each model is used, what controls are available, or how consistent the results are.

ShortMake says users can start for free without a credit card. Paid plans start at $19.99 per month, with monthly and annual billing; annual plans are advertised as 30% off. The site estimates that a 60-second video uses about 100 to 120 credits. Specific free-plan limits and full paid-plan details are not clearly stated, so estimate likely usage before choosing a plan.

Who this is for

ShortMake appears best suited to social video creators who want to experiment with AI-assisted production for short-form platforms. It may also be worth comparing for creators who need voice-over or animated characters alongside video generation. It is a less informed choice for teams that require clear privacy commitments, defined commercial rights, or predictable costs until those details are confirmed.
