Sky Shard

Sky Shard is an unofficial fan-made tracker for shard eruptions in Sky: Children of the Light, intended to help players check event timing and location before they enter the game.

Quick Verdict

Sky Shard is a focused, single-page tool that provides live tracking for red and black shard eruptions across the game’s five realms. It may be useful for players who want the current realm, location, reward, and countdown in one place, but anyone relying on it should verify how its event data is produced and updated.

The project is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to thatgamecompany. That status is clearly disclosed, which matters for users deciding whether to treat the tracker as an official source.

Key Features

• Live tracking for Sky shard eruptions.
• Current realm and location details for red and black shards.
• Reward information and a countdown timer.
• Coverage of five realms: Daylight Prairie, Hidden Forest, Valley of Triumph, Golden Wasteland, and Vault of Knowledge.
• No account system or server-side database, according to the privacy policy.
• The privacy policy states that activity on the site is not sent to or stored on servers controlled by Sky Shard.

The website describes the service as a static, single-page tool, so its scope appears deliberately narrow: eruption tracking rather than a broader Sky companion service. The website does not clearly state the specific data sources, update methodology, availability guarantees, support arrangements, accessibility, or platform compatibility. Verify those points on the official website before depending on it for time-sensitive play.

Who this is for

Sky: Children of the Light players who regularly plan around shard eruptions are the best fit, particularly those who want a quick browser-based reference for event timing, realm, location, and reward details.

It is less suitable for users looking for an official game service, detailed gameplay guidance, or documented reliability guarantees. Pricing and monetization details are also not clearly stated, so verify whether any conditions or limitations apply before use.
